There are a few things I don’t like about this bottle.
- First of all, it has a cheap feel to it. The base of the bottle looks and feels a bit “unfinished” to me. It actually has a sharp edge where it meets the wall of the bottle, and reminds me of a cheap, stamped out, camping pot or something.
- There is a big, ol’ sticker on the base that is not peelable. It leaves a real mess when attempting to remove it! I hate that!
- The sippy cap has a nasty smell and taste, even after several washes.
- The opening and neck of the bottle appears to be lined with a different kind of metal, which is yellowish in colour. When drinking from the bottle directly, there is a distinct metallic taste.
So, not particularly impressed. That’s a fairly large list of things that I don’t like on a simple bottle.
2.5 stars.

I received my PMCI stainless steel water bottles as a gift a few months ago and I am very pleased
As an lover of outdoor sports, I have been searching for just the right bottle for me.
with their performance and good quality finish. It was a pleasant surprise at how clean tasting the water is; there is no metallic aftertaste. I have used both the loop and sport cap depending on my activity and both caps function well – no leakage. I would highly recommend this product to anyone without reservation. ”

I was going to order a Sigg until I realized they were made out of aluminum instead of stainless steel. So in searching around on Amazon I found the PMCI bottle. It is alot cheaper, especially with two caps, and just as sturdy, light and aesthetically appealing. My only qualm is that the cap is plastic, unlike my old Klean Kanteen, I would prefer my water not touch plastic at all. However, the narrow mouth on the PMCI is much more convenient than the wide mouth of the Klean Kanteen — I would always spill it all over my face! I highly recommend this product.

I bought both the 20oz & 34oz bottles; one for walking and one for the office. I was pleasantly surprised to see how light weight they are. The quality and versatility is outstanding. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase; prompt delivery & excellent value.

I love this bottle! Not only does it look great, but I love having a choice of caps. One big surprise: water tastes better, cleaner out of a stainless steel bottle than out of a plastic one. Wish I had known this sooner. And no logo means I can use this at my desk at work and it looks professional!
